The questions most buyers ask first.
KAOUYOU develops and manufactures custom menswear for fashion brands, including T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts, pants and shorts, jackets and outerwear, denim and washed garments. Other custom apparel projects can be reviewed according to product requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
Explore Product CategoriesKAOUYOU works with streetwear brands, private-label businesses, growing and designer brands, creator-led brands, wholesale teams, and Amazon or ecommerce businesses. The service is designed for B2B clients developing custom products rather than consumers purchasing individual garments.
No. KAOUYOU is a custom clothing development and manufacturing partner. We do not focus on selling blank garments or ready-stock apparel. Products are developed and produced according to the client's references, specifications, approved sample and order requirements.
Explore Custom ManufacturingNo. A complete tech pack is helpful, but you can also begin with reference images, a physical sample, sketches or an early product idea. We review the information available and identify what must be confirmed before quotation or sample development.
Explore Product DevelopmentYes. Reference images, sketches and physical samples can be used to discuss silhouette, measurements, construction, fabric direction and details. More complete references help improve feasibility review, quotation accuracy and sample development efficiency.
Useful information includes the product category, reference images or tech pack, estimated quantity, fabric direction, colors, size range, artwork, branding requirements, packaging needs and target delivery timing. Send the information you currently have, even if some details still require development.
Request a QuoteFor most product categories, the typical starting MOQ is approximately 100 pieces. Final MOQ depends on the style, color plan, fabric, trims, techniques and packaging requirements. Some materials or customized components may have separate supplier minimums.
MOQ is reviewed according to the actual product structure, style, colors and material requirements. Do not assume that quantities from several unrelated styles or colors can always be combined. KAOUYOU confirms the applicable MOQ after reviewing the project details.
Size quantities can usually be planned within an approved size range, but the exact ratio should be confirmed for the order. Color quantities depend on fabric availability, dyeing minimums, printing, trims and supplier requirements, so color combinations must be reviewed by project.
Pricing is influenced by fabric, consumption, garment construction, pattern complexity, printing, embroidery, washing, trims, labels, packaging, quantity and quality requirements. A more complete product brief allows KAOUYOU to provide more useful preliminary cost guidance.
A preliminary estimate may be possible when enough information is available. Final pricing can change after fabric, construction, techniques, trims, sample details and order quantity are confirmed. KAOUYOU does not publish a universal fixed price for custom garments.
They can. Fabrics, custom colors, labels, hardware, patches and packaging may each follow different supplier minimums. These requirements are checked during sourcing and development so the client can understand any constraints before approving the order.
Review Material CoordinationYes. Sample fees are confirmed before development because pattern work, material preparation, cutting, sewing, techniques and communication require dedicated resources. KAOUYOU does not publish a fixed sample price or promise that sample fees will always be refunded or deducted.
Sampling time is calculated after the required project information, sample fee and necessary materials are confirmed. Delays in specifications, artwork, fabric or trim approval can affect the development start date.
Regular samples usually take approximately 7–12 days. Denim and washed samples usually take approximately 12–15 days. Complex structures, special materials and specialist techniques may require more time. These periods begin after the necessary information, fees and materials are confirmed.
Yes. Clients can review fit, measurements, construction, fabric, artwork, trims and other details before approving the sample. A revised sample usually requires another 7–10 days, depending on the changes and whether new materials or techniques are needed.
Review the overall silhouette, fit, key measurements, fabric weight and hand feel, construction, stitching, artwork placement, trims, branding details and any wash or finishing effects. Feedback should be consolidated and clearly documented to reduce misunderstandings.
Yes. The approved sample and confirmed specifications provide important references for bulk production. Pattern, measurements, materials, details and visual direction should be approved before the bulk order is prepared, so that production, inspection and packing all follow the same confirmed reference.
Bulk production is controlled against the approved sample and confirmed requirements, but materials, dyeing, washing and manually finished effects can show reasonable variation. Washed and distressed garments are controlled within an approved range rather than expected to look visually identical piece by piece.
Yes. KAOUYOU can coordinate fabrics, functional trims, labels and packaging according to the product brief. Availability, colors, minimums, costs and lead times are confirmed for the specific project rather than promised as unlimited options.
Review Material CoordinationYes. Clients can provide nominated suppliers, material codes, swatches or physical materials. Compatibility, quantity, delivery timing, sample availability and responsibilities should be reviewed before the materials are used in development or production.
Custom color development can be coordinated when the material, quantity and supplier conditions support it. Custom dyeing may involve additional minimums, cost and approval time. Smaller projects may need to select from available colors.
Yes. Main labels, size labels, care labels, hangtags and packaging requirements can be coordinated according to the client's files and project needs. Artwork, dimensions, placement, minimums and timing must be confirmed before production or final packing.
KAOUYOU can coordinate printing, embroidery, appliqué, washes, distressing and other finishing directions according to the garment, fabric and design. Feasibility, minimums and expected results are confirmed through project review and sampling.
No. Printing, embroidery, washing and some specialist techniques are commonly completed with professional partner facilities. KAOUYOU coordinates sample approval, follows bulk execution and checks the final result, but does not claim that every technique is completed in-house.
Responsible or certified material options can be reviewed when suitable suppliers and valid documentation are available. Certification, composition and sustainability claims must be verified for the specific material and project. KAOUYOU does not claim that every available fabric carries the same certification.
Bulk production usually takes approximately 25–40 days. Complex garments, special materials, custom trims, washing, finishing and larger orders may require more time. The final production plan is confirmed according to the approved product and material readiness.
Production timing is calculated after the required specifications, approved sample, deposit, materials and order details are confirmed. Late changes, delayed approvals or unavailable materials can move the planned production schedule.
Changes can be reviewed, but modifications after approval may affect patterns, materials, pricing, sample requirements and production timing. Important changes should be confirmed in writing before bulk work continues, so that the production team works from the most recent approved specifications.
KAOUYOU uses dedicated QC personnel, pre-production meetings, internal first-piece review, material checks, in-process inspection and final garment inspection. Requirements are aligned with the client before production and followed through the manufacturing process.
Review Quality ControlEvery finished garment receives a final visual and workmanship inspection before packing. This includes visible construction, sewing, finishing and appearance. Additional requirements are handled according to the approved product and client instructions.
No. Final visual and workmanship inspection is performed on every garment, while measurements are checked through QC sampling rather than measuring every point on every piece. Measurement requirements and tolerances follow the client's specifications or an appropriate product standard.
Yes. Clients can arrange third-party inspection at their own cost. Needle detection, metal detection and other requested testing can also be coordinated when required, usually through an appropriate third-party service provider.
KAOUYOU can provide requested photos, measurement records and relevant inspection information according to the project. Internal inspection reports are generally used for internal control, so the exact information shared should be agreed before shipment.
Issues identified during production or final inspection are reviewed and addressed before shipment preparation where possible. If an issue is reported after delivery, the approved sample, specifications, inspection information, photos and order agreement are reviewed to determine the appropriate next step.
Custom bulk orders are produced to approved project specifications and are not handled like standard retail returns. Any reported issue is reviewed against the approved sample, specifications, inspection records, supporting evidence and applicable order agreement. KAOUYOU does not publish an unconditional return or refund promise.
Yes. A bulk production deposit is normally required after the final sample and order details are confirmed. KAOUYOU does not publish a fixed deposit percentage because the payment arrangement is confirmed for each order.
Final payment is usually completed before shipment. The exact balance, payment date and shipment-release conditions are confirmed through the applicable quotation, invoice and order agreement. KAOUYOU does not publish a fixed payment schedule because arrangements vary by project and are agreed before production begins.
Available payment methods are confirmed through the quotation, invoice and project communication. KAOUYOU does not publish unverified payment channels on the FAQ page. Clients should use only the payment information supplied through confirmed company communication.
Yes. Clients can nominate their own freight forwarder and provide the required contact, pickup, warehouse or port instructions. KAOUYOU coordinates packing readiness, carton information and handoff according to the confirmed arrangement.
Review Shipping & DeliveryYes. KAOUYOU can assist by coordinating with logistics providers based on the destination, carton volume and requested delivery structure. Freight cost, route, estimated transit time and included services are confirmed for each shipment.
KAOUYOU supports EXW, FOB and project-based DDP arrangements. Final responsibilities, named places, included costs and risk-transfer points must be confirmed in the quotation, order documents and logistics arrangement. The trade term is selected according to the order, destination and client requirements rather than offered as a default for every shipment.
KAOUYOU can coordinate shipment preparation and delivery to a provided FBA destination when the client supplies the current shipment plan, labels, address and platform requirements. KAOUYOU follows confirmed instructions but does not act as an Amazon compliance adviser.
Transit time depends on the destination, shipping method, route availability, customs handling and final delivery service. The logistics provider's current estimate is confirmed for the shipment, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed arrival date unless explicitly agreed by the provider.
It depends on the confirmed trade term and logistics quotation. Duties, taxes, customs services and destination charges are not automatically included in every shipping price. The included scope must be reviewed before the shipment is approved.
Useful information includes the delivery address, contact details, trade term, forwarder instructions, warehouse requirements, shipping labels, carton requirements and target delivery timing. Required approvals and payment arrangements must also be completed before shipment release.
